Romantic dinner under the stars South Africa, 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆? 𝑻𝒂𝒈 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖’𝒅 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 ✨ Our most recent trip was to the Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve. We had a splendid time and part of it was because of our private boma dinner under the open skies with the stars shining brightly above us. It was simply breathtaking, realising how miniscule we are when compared to the vast sky looking down at us🌃

The area can get quite cold at night (it was 0°C that night) so there is a private fireplace with seats. A dining area is also set up for you further away with a gas heater and minimal lighting for a romantic setting. We didn’t spend much time in the dining area, since the heater was more for indoors and it felt too dark. Instead, we moved to the fireplace for a cosy and romantic dining experience! We had a very friendly dedicated waiter who assisted us with anything we needed, including warm blankets. S decided to brave the cold floors and used one of the blankets to sleep on the ground to get a full mesmerizing view of the stars.

Having dinner at their private boma will cost you R500, and includes everything excluding the meals. Drinks are also included!
Was it worth it? Absolutely. In fact, we would rate it in our top 5 most romantic dinners.
