Bet you’ve never thought of attending a slime workshop Cape Town. They call themselves @mushyslime , but we call them a therapy in a tiny box! Who doesn’t love watching slime videos, right? So imagine our immense happiness when we discovered Mush Slime was based right here, in Cape Town! The slimes you’ll find here are super unique – you may have seen the Checkers 60 Minis inspired one too and if you haven’t, it’s too cute 😍

Slime workshop Cape Town

We came across the workshop they offer late last year, and basically, you can create slimes in different ways and different combinations. Mush Slime tingles the creative side of your brain because you can really make anything from what you get in the workshop.

Importantly, they make their slime from non-toxic PVA clear glue, borax powder and/or body cream. Depending on the design of the slime, you will have additional aspects such as fragrance oils, essential oils, air dry clay, fake snow, paint, food colouring, glitter, foam beads, charms, sprinkles and more.

The beauty of this workshop is that there are no rules here and it can be therapeutic to not only make the slime but also watch it being made. Seeing it being made can even be great ASMR, which is lekker for a stressful day.

Mush Slime ALSO sells kits that you can make at home, and prices vary depending on the combo you choose. The design workshops are of two options, 45 mins or 1 hour, and we definitely recommend this.

We tried it and had such a fun experience. It was a bit sad to only see children come to the workshop because we definitely think adults would love it too. In fact, we think its a great date idea or an activity to do with friends.

As a side note, we love the business owner. She makes lots of YouTube videos on how to make the slime and has a genuine interest in sharing her slime love with people. It’s really cool!
