A Peaceful Stellenbosch Airbnb Escape Just 10 Minutes from Town

One of the things we love most about Stellenbosch is that you never have to travel far to feel completely removed from everyday life. On our recent visit, we stayed at a beautiful estate just 10 minutes from Stellenbosch Central. It was close enough to enjoy everything the town has to offer, yet far enough away to feel peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature. Watch here.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like the kind of place where you could properly switch off. The Airbnb features a spacious lounge area with comfortable sofas, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the Winelands. Our favourite corner was right next to the fireplace, where we happily spent our evenings unwinding. Book the stay here!

Outside, the property opens onto a lovely garden that immediately adds to the sense of tranquillity. There is an outdoor dining area where you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine or settle in for a slow afternoon meal surrounded by greenery.

The main bedroom was incredibly spacious and filled with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra cosy. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and came equipped with heated blankets, which quickly became one of our favourite features. In fact, one evening the blanket was so warm that we didn’t even bother turning on any additional heating.

The en-suite bathroom was equally impressive. The large bathtub overlooks the surrounding trees and sky, creating the perfect setting for a long soak after a busy day. It felt private, peaceful and exactly what we needed after spending hours exploring Stellenbosch.

The accommodation includes an additional guest bathroom and a well-equipped kitchenette for those who prefer preparing some of their own meals. While there isn’t a traditional stove or oven, we found the setup more than sufficient. The kitchenette includes an air fryer, microwave and coffee machine, making it easy to prepare simple meals and enjoy a morning coffee before heading out for the day.

Security is also well considered, with parking available behind secure gates on the property. For warmer days, guests can also enjoy access to the swimming pool, which offers a refreshing escape from the Stellenbosch summer heat.

One of the biggest advantages of staying here is the location. You’re only a short drive from Stellenbosch’s restaurants, wine farms, cafés and attractions, while still enjoying the peace and quiet that many accommodations in town can’t always offer.

Whether you’re planning a romantic weekend away, a Winelands escape or simply need a break from city life, this is the kind of place that encourages you to slow down and enjoy your surroundings.

For us, it was the perfect balance between convenience and tranquillity. And if you’ve been looking for a sign to book that Stellenbosch getaway, this might be it!
