With hearty portions, local flavour, and genuinely warm service, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. They’ve also got the funniest things up on their walls.

What Could Be Better

Honestly? We couldn’t find a single thing. If you do, let us know 😅

The value for money is also great. We spent about R200 per person, including drinks and a tip. We both went for a dish that came packed with flavour and seriously had us impressed. We’d even go so far as to say it’s one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in Cape Town so far.

For drinks, Saleha ordered the hot chocolate, which was perfectly creamy for a winter morning. Aliasgher went for a local favourite, the mango milkshake. The moment our waiter brought it over, she beamed with excitement that we chose her go-to order. Gotta love that energy!

You also get the option to add a range of spice toppings to customise your food. Honestly, the choices are a little overwhelming (in a fun way), so take your time with that one.

The Atmosphere

The atmosphere at Gordons Bay Coffee Cafe is inviting and warm. The decor is a mix of quirky art and cozy seating, making it a perfect spot to relax. Whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone, the vibe is just right.

Perfect for Any Occasion

Between the vibe, the value, and the food, this spot checks all the boxes for a post-hike refuel or just a casual brunch with friends. It’s a hidden gem in Gordons Bay that deserves more hype.
