I remember seeing somewhere on social media a while ago that if you go into the Lego store at any mall in South Africa (we went to Canal Walk), they’ve got a section in which you can build your own figurine!
We wanted to do this for a while before we actually managed to, and this was because every time we passed the Lego store, there were waaaayy too many people inside for us. We finally decided to go on a weekday at a random time and got to make our figurines!
You can, of course, switch it up and have your partner make your Lego figurine and you make theirs, but we decided to make our own together, meaning that if we saw something that had meaning attached or that the other person might find cute, we shared it with them.
You kind of build your figurine in parts, so you pick each section – the pants, the torso, the hat, any accessories. It’s really cute and fun, and affordable too! If you’d like to see what we got upto, click here. And share this with someone you’d like to go on a Lego date with!
