With our wallets becoming lighter every year, it’s lovely to come across a place like MJ Burgers Cape Town that wants to offer good quality food at a reasonable price to their customers. If you’d like to watch what we ate, click here.

Located in an old garage along Campground Road, their menu and service scream no-nonsense.

What we ate at MJ Burgers Cape Town

They have burgers, sandwiches, chicken tenders and lots of side options that pair up well for a complete meal. They invited us to sample some of their options, and we are here to tell you what we think.

We had their smash Pro burger, Patty Melt sandwich, animal style fries and the chicken tender box. For all your meat lovers, the burger and sandwich had a strong barbecue taste melting against their brioche bread.

The chicken tender box offered KFC-styled crispy chicken, with a better taste, munched classically with fries and bread. The animal-style fries layered a smashed patty on top of fries with a generous amount of cheese and jalapenos sprinkled over; an option to try if you want to carb load significantly.

Overall, MJ’s burger gets our nod for your next budget meal!
