Nan Hua Temple

As soon as you enter, you will feel transported to Asia and actually physically be able to sense the tranquillity here. The temple itself is divided into a number of main and smaller temples, each with their own significance. In fact, everything here has a symbolic meaning. The lillies along every pathway, for example, symbolise spiritual rebirth. The sculpture of the lion before every entrance within the temples demonstrates strength and protection.

Once inside the temples, you will find explanations for every carving of Buddha within them. It was honestly so riveting to see the similarities in foundational beliefs of peace, harmony, and spiritual enlightenment for all. The temple also has a vegetarian restaurant, a tea house, and a gift shop.

As with any other places of worship, we remind you to be respectful of the few rules they have in place (like not taking pictures inside and removing your shoes).
