Cheetah Outreach Cape Town

Some animals are just so majestic that you are just mesmerized in their very presence. That is what you encounter when you visit cheetahs and other animals at the Cheetah Outreach in Somerset West.

As a conservation site, they are made of a great, knowledgeable team that take care of all the animals and protect them to ensure their long survival. We visited them during a weekend trip where we did the entire tour including a feeding experience of all the animals on the site that includes meerkats, servals, jackals, foxes, and of course cheetahs.

Each animal has a unique story and some of the team members have been an important part of their lives from a young age, making their connection ever so strong. During your visit, you will hear about these stories and further fall in love with them. Some of them are interesting love stories, similar to humans, that make the heart ever so fond to these beautiful animals. Our experience was simply amazing, and we strongly recommend visiting them.

We even got to see how they allow some of the animals to stay together once the area closes to visitors. The entire feeding tour and private encounter cost us R170 pp, quite affordable for everything that you get to witness. But you can choose the options you want and easily visit for under R100!
