Nested in Tokai, we bring to you another hidden gem in Cape Town that offers mouthwatering Indian food. Their meticulous decor is eye-grabbing with small touches that are representative of their culinary offering.

We were offered complimentary papads while waiting for our food. For starters, we had the mixed vegetable pakodas, which included different vegetables fried in a batter.

For mains, we had the chicken jalfrezi and mixed veg korma. All their food was scrumptious, well-priced and offered good quantity. For example, the prices for the mains were inclusive of rice AND naan – something we haven’t seen any Indian restaurant offer in Cape Town. Kudos to them for this offering because an Indian meal always needs naan 😋

The masala tea – another must-have for an Indian meal – had 4 servings in total, another good bang for your buck meal drink. The service was great as well – the chef personally came to our table to ask if our evening was going well and if we enjoyed the food.
