Turkish Doner Cape Town: the delicious shawarma spot Cape Town needs to know about

WHEN was the last time you went wrong with our recommendations? That’s right, NEVER 😜 So here we are, back with another! Turkish Doner Cape Town is situated at the heart of the infamous Bo-Kaap and serves mouth-watering shawarma options. Combo options are plenty and you can get a side of curly fries and soda with that.

There’s no overload of decision making here; menu options are simple. For meals, you can have wraps, bowls and chips (some combination of those as well). Lots of cold and warm drink choices with exquisite Turkish options too. We tried the chicken and meat wrap/shawarma options, and *ding ding* the meat shawarma was the easy winner for us. Want to see? They have a cute seating option for sit-down meals with small tables and chairs right outside the restaurant. Married with artificial grass, it’s a great place to eat during a sunny day and enjoy the Bo-Kaap vibe.
