One of our recent favourites is Franschhoek Boutique Hotel. One of the many reasons we love living in Cape Town is because of how close it is to some truly incredible nearby towns, each with their own unique culture, charm, and history. And if you know us, you’ll know we especially love finding well-priced, relaxing hotels that make the experience even more memorable.

Franschhoek Boutique Hotel Review

Located right in the heart of Franschhoek, this boutique stay is perfectly positioned for anyone wanting to explore the town on foot while enjoying a comfortable and stylish stay.

Their modern suites immediately stood out to us for a few reasons. They have extremely comfortable beds (which is always a win), beautifully designed bathrooms, a fireplace, perfect for cosy winter evenings, and private balconies with mountain views.

Honestly, waking up to those mountain views from your balcony is reason enough to book.

Breakfast and Convenience

Breakfast is included as part of their packages, and while we’d describe it as simple rather than extravagant, it was definitely a solid start to the day before heading out to explore.

Another major plus is the location. Franschhoek Boutique Hotel is within walking distance of many of Franschhoek’s best restaurants, shops, and attractions, making it an ideal base if you want to park your car and explore stress-free.

Nearby Food Options We Loved

One of our favourite parts of the stay was indulging in Franschhoek’s food scene (because obviously 😅). We ordered pasta from Allora, a lovely Italian restaurant that conveniently offers room service to the hotel.

We also grabbed some of the best pizza we’ve had from another nearby restaurant in town. Proof that Franschhoek really lives up to its foodie reputation.

Money-Saving Tip for Booking Franschhoek Boutique Hotel

Keep an eye out for seasonal specials, especially during their winter warmer promotions. There are often fantastic deals available throughout the year, and if you book at the right time, you can enjoy one of the best boutique hotel stays in Franschhoek without stretching the budget too far.

Is Franschhoek Boutique Hotel Worth It?

If you’re looking for where to stay in Franschhoek, especially for a romantic getaway or relaxing weekend escape, we’d definitely recommend Franschhoek Boutique Hotel.

Between the central location, cosy atmosphere, mountain views, and comfortable rooms, it’s the kind of place that makes your trip feel extra special.
