Buffet Breakfast Cape Town Waterfront: Breakfast needs to be messy and offer a plethora of options. It just can’t be omelette and bread, or just cereal, because breakfast is a feeling, and that is why we love buffet breakfasts. It’s a pity that there aren’t many restaurants out there that offer this, but guess who does? The Radisson at V&A Waterfront, and they do it very well. See what you can get here!

Buffet Breakfast Cape Town Waterfront

Since nothing is off the table, quite literally, it is worth mentioning everything you can get. The usual suspects are on offer, with cereals, fruits, yoghurt, juice, and various bread options. You can also get a warm option with eggs made to your liking and taste, but they also offer warm waffles with chocolate, which are the perfect dessert option if you like. In addition to waffles and pancakes, the breakfast buffet offers a whole bunch of warm baked delicacies. You’ll find croissants and other pastries, as well as muffins and some breakfast cakes.

Coffee and tea options are also available for our caffeine lovers. If you are an English breakfast person, or just a health enthusiast, the buffet is the way to go. They’ve also got a separate halaal section. Plus, a selection of fresh juices – usually whatever is in season when you go, and then some cucumber or lemon water for a refresh.

If your tummy isn’t satisfied yet, their ocean-facing seating feeds both the soul and the heart at the same time. We suggest taking a walk by the ocean after your meal as a perfect closing ceremony. We also recommend making a reservation with Tobago’s Restaurant, because they don’t always have availability, especially during peak season. Additionally, their buffet season and timings also vary from season to season. The last time we visited, the buffet cost R355 per person.

The only thing you have to keep a look out for if you sit outside is the seagulls, who will swoop in and grab your breakfast before you can say ah! Some of the staff is dedicated to swatting them away from time to time.
