Eastern Food Bazaar is one of the most popular restaurants in Cape Town that has opened the door to a plethora of Asian and Mediterranean options to its patrons.

Whether you want a curry, an indo-Chinese rice dish, some shawarma or really anything, their chefs have it ready for you!

The experience is especially unique and mirrors a typical food court style restaurant. Order at the front, give the receipt to the chef who cooks the meal while you are there.

Before you know, you have a tray of your dish ready to be munched up. Be careful to stick to the designated lines, this was something we mistook when we visited the first time (years ago)!

Our favourite options are the chicken tikka, the shawarma, and the dosas. We love the generous portions offered at a reasonable prices, and since it’s right in the city centre, it’s easily accessible and very popular with tourists.
